1930s National Collegian Resonator Guitar (Update)

This is the same guitar I worked on for my buddy Steve back in 2020 (click here for that blog post and its full info on this guitar and repairs).

This time around, it looks like my old repair to the broken lower-bout panel had sprung again, so I went a little overboard and soldered the heck out of it and gave it a marginal cleaning-up that, I think, fits with the vibe of the guitar. We win again!

I love the feel and sound of this one. Steve had half head to sell it, recently, but when he played it again he flipped that mind right around and took it home. Good man!
