1965 Gibson J-50 Slope Dreadnought Guitar
This one was just in for repair -- it got some brace reglues, a level/dress of the frets, a new rosewood (fully-compensated) saddle, cleaning, and setup work -- courtesy of Jose and Jacobi.
It's a nice-sounding, woody, and direct sort-of guitar with a good, burred punch to its tone. The neck is a little narrow at the nut for flatpicked lead work but otherwise it's quite the good player.
The whole thing looks like it got a refinish job at some point and then said refinish job got played-through on the top. How about that? The oversized bridge is a little wonky but it does lend it a friendly, laid-back look.
