1978 Peavey T60 Electric Guitar
Oak body, bright-sounding and adaptable pickups (thanks to the mini switch), slim neck, and rawk styling -- what more could you want? Well -- a little less weight! I love these old T60s but they are on the heavy side, so when I've owned them from time to time I've used them mostly for recording or hanging-about in the house.
The '90s definitely gave Peavies a bit of a bad name as they moved more into cheapo import guitars and whatnot, but the American-made products have always been solid, functional, practical instruments from what I've seen. Just like anything else, they usually just need some sprucing-up to get them in-spec with fancier gear. I, myself, play an old Fury bass as my main squeeze these days.
This one was in for repair for a local and Jacobi gave it a level/dress of the frets, cleaning, and setup work.
