1980s Kramer Striker 300ST Shredder Electric Guitar

This yesteryear SuperStrat has a Floyd Rose, big old frets, and undeniable charm. Its owner had one of these as a "first good guitar" back in the day and found this same one in the same color to rekindle some boyhood dreams.

I must say, I rather like the instrument now that I've gone through it. The owner requested we leave the locking nut gadgets off and that puts it way ahead in my book on the practicality front (I hate having to tune just with the fine tuners), but it did necessitate some fussing in the nut slots to get it to sound proper without them (boy do I love locking nut geometry, it's so well-thought-out).

One nice little feature on this is a coil-tapped humbucker in the bridge which allows for a few extra tones to throw in the mix.

This got a level/dress of the frets, cleaning, spray-out of the pots and switch, and a setup.
