1990s Skylark (China) 16” Viola
Overview: This is a simple, good-sounding, nice-playing viola. It has the Skylark brand that I'm familiar with from '80s and '90s Chinese instruments but despite that, it's decently-made and features a solid spruce top over solid maple back and sides. The grain on top is good and it has a rosewood fingerboard which I rather like the look and feel of.
Repairs included: Manny reset the neck, planed and dressed the fingerboard, fit a new bridge and strings, and set it all up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: There's a little handling-wear here and there throughout but overall it looks nice. The fingerboard had originally been stained black but I like the natural, polished-up look that Manny has left it with after service.
It comes with: As I recall, it has an old case and does come with its original bow.
