1900s Hopf-Labeled German Nice-Quality 4/4 Violin
Overview: I don't recall when we worked on this last, but I think Andy may have still be in the shop at the time. It's a good-quality, German-made violin with Hopf branding at the back near the heel and also burned on the inside. The medium-light-brown finish is interesting, as are the blocky shoulders and lower bout shape. It has a clean, even sound with a good amount of "sauce" when you dig-in that I enjoy a lot.
Repairs included: As I recall, this got a board plane, new bridge, some seam repairs, cleaning, and setup the last time we saw it. It's playing nicely and is ready for service.

Condition notes: It appears to be mostly era-correct, though the bridge, chinrest, and fine tuners are likely a bit later. This may have been made as late as the 1920s but I expect it's a little earlier. There are mild scratches and scuffs here and there in the finish but overall it looks good.
It comes with: It's got a decent foam-style case.
