1927 Vega Little Wonder Resonator Tenor Banjo
Overview: For 1927, this Vega is pretty interesting. It's got a Little Wonder tonering, full-on resonator with flange pieces, and a short scale. This is pretty much the ideal "American Celtic" configuration so we've set it up and strung it for GDAE "Celtic" octave mandolin tuning, where it excels.
It's mostly-original, too, though we've added a snythetic (Remo Renaissance) head and new bridge. Per the usual for a Vega, the build quality is high and it's a well-thought-out, easy-on-the-eyes instrument. It's even got a cute graphic on the resonator's rear.
Repairs included: Jacobi fit a new head, cleaned it up, gave it a level/dress of the frets and fit side dots, fit a new bridge, and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
