1963 Goya S-16 (Levin) 000-Size Acoustic Guitar
Overview: This is a nice, 000-size, Levin-made, Goya-branded, x-braced guitar that has a lot of Martin 000-18 flavor but some more mids and a plainer-sounding voice ported over from Gibson-land. It would be a good "all-rounder" instrument for any guitar player as it sounds great clunked-on with chords and makes a steady fingerpicker, too. The neck is comfy and quick (for its time) and it has a very appealing, understated look. I'm a Levin fan, however, so I may be mildly gushing for the camera, so to speak.
Repairs included: Jacobi did most of the work on this with some help from Jose. It got a neck reset (the neck is bolted so this makes it a little easier), a level/dress of the frets, bridge reglue, new bone saddle (these are glued in, however, like old Martins and needs to be to keep the bridge strong), some pickguard regluing in spots, cleaning, and setup work. It has a small section near the endpin that got water-damaged and warped a little on the sides right at the seam -- I reglued that and cleaned it up -- it's sturdy and good to go but does still have a little waviness right at the seam. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: It's original save for pins, tuners (period but not original), and saddle. There's a little finish disturbance near the endpin and on the back, center-seam where someone had left tape for decades. There are mild scratches, scuffs, etc. here and there throughout and the finish has a ton of weather-check (as you'd expect).
It comes with: Sorry, no case.
