1970s Aria GR-30 "Gallagher" (Japan) Dreadnought Guitar
Overview: While this guitar has the outline and styling of a Gallagher, it's a Japanese-made Aria instead. It has a good, round tone to it that's like a bit more of a refined Yamaha sound as the highs are a little less zippy and more solid while it still has good lows. The handling is good, it has much-upgraded Schaller tuners, and it even has a soft "volute" at the back of the headstock.
Because it's a handsome-looking, nice-playing, ply-bodied instrument, it will be weather-stable and would be a good choice for a knockabout, take-anywhere guitar so long as you don't mind dragging-around a dreadnought.
Repairs included: Jose fit a new bone nut and saddle, leveled and dressed the frets, cleaned it up, and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.
