1970s Schumacher 4-String Electric Mandolin

Overview: This is one of two electric mandolins made by Mr. Schumacher in the late '70s and it features a mini-Tele shape with cool "wide hips," an adjustable-poles DiMarzio pickup, and custom hardware throughout (cut-down from other stuff). It's one of the very-much cooler old electric mandolins I've seen with a "trad shape" as it's aged in the finish just-so (buttery-yellow neck color and a banana-colored body) and all of the design choices have led to an instrument that is super-practical, well-thought-out, comfy in the neck, and excellent and balanced in tone. It only has the "normal" amount of frets for a mandolin but we can't all be Mandocasters, right?

Repairs included: I gave it a level/dress of the frets, cleaning, and setup work. It's playing bang-on and ready to go.
