1990s Memphis P-Style Electric Bass Guitar

Overview: While there are plenty of '70s Memphis-branded P-style basses, this one is likely early '90s. IT has a matte-black pickguard and traditional P-style pickups and wiring harness. Post-work, it plays a treat and is a practical, worn-in, ready-to-roll, looks-good-anywhere sort-of instrument. It's a P-bass!

It is on the heavy side, however, so if you're planning to stand-up all night with it, it might be a good idea to rout-out under the pickguard as much as possible to remove a pound.

Repairs included: I replaced the entire wiring harness (new 500k pots, Switchcraft jack, simple 47 tone cap) with shielded cable, too. I then cleaned it up a lot and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: There's wear and tear throughout via light scratching, scuffing, etc. and the hardware has a bunch of tarnish/rush in spots. It's all working 100%, though. The strings are old but I cleaned them up and they have a nice, mellow, not-ringy sound to them.

It comes with: This actually has quite the nice molded hard case.
