2018 Fender Road Worn Jazz Bass Electric Bass Guitar (w/Lollar DC Pickups)

Overview: This is a pretty typical Road Worn JB from 2018 and it's even in the killer Fiesta Red/tortoise colors. Where it diverges from typical is that I gave the frets a level/dress job recently (to alleivate that usual "Fender bump" at the extension area) and installed a pair of Lollar DC (humbucking/side-by-side-coils) pickups so that the bass is not noisy whether you've got the pickups in individual or joined configurations.

The necks and feel of these Road Worn basses from around this time (we've had a few in for setups each year and a few for sale) is really close to the '60s JBs we've had the pleasure to work-on and sell. This one has a quick neck, curvy board, and is only a little over 8 lbs fully-loaded. It's a great rig!

Some people poo on the Pau Ferro fretboards but I've found that they look great -- like the old creamy-coffee-brown-looking Brazilian rosewood that Regal often used in the '40s and '50s and the less-porous grain certainly feels nice under the fingers. I'm a fan.

Repairs included: I gave it a level/dress of the frets, installed some Lollar DC pickups, and set it up on the dot for the owner. He's since realized he's much more of a P guy and so it's here for sale. It's ready to go and playing spot-on.
