1964 Gibson LG-1 00-Size Guitar
Overview: Who doesn't like an old Gibson? This LG-1 has the wider nut you would expect on a '64 and a robust, woody sound. It has just enough wear and tear to keep it a player's guitar but not enough to make you doubt its suitability for long hauls and the gigging life.
I love LG-1s for fingerpickers and folks strumming with a light to medium touch as it's such a perfect guitar to record both of those styles with as its balanced, simple sound won't woof or overpower a mic too easily. For the same reason, they fit into a jam group or band nicely if said jam is overstuffed with, say, a line of dreadnoughts belting out lower-mids mushiness.
Repairs included: I gave it a neck reset and recut the saddle slot (in the same place, but deeper) as whoever made the bridge for this had cut it way too shallow. I also lightly reprofiled the bridge to give it a better look. Jacobi leveled and dressed the frets, made a new bone saddle, cleaned it up, and set it up. It plays spot-on and is ready to go.

Condition notes: The ebony bridge is a replacement (as is the bone saddle and the bridge pins). The truss rod cover is also newer. It has plenty of weather-check to the finish and scads of small scratches, scuffs, nicks, and dings here and there throughout. The only cracks I found were a couple of tiny (repaired) ones just south of the fretboard extension at the rosette.
It comes with: It did not come with a case but I actually just got a nice, older, hard case with plush lining that I will include.
