2024 Eastman MD514 F-Style Oval-Hole Mandolin
Overview: Well, dang, if this one isn't loud and proud! It's got a lot of cut, chop, and punch like a bluegrasser but with just a bit of extra warmth in the vein of a mid-teens Gibson A-style instrument. It's easy on the eyes, too, with its classic 2-point and scroll design and ruddy-brown finish color.
Modern features like a radiused fretboard and bigger frets give it a faster, easier feel, too. The flamed maple on the back is pretty spiff, too. I like.
As a bonus, it comes with a nice case, Toneguard for the back, and an ebony armrest.
Repairs included: I just needed to give it a quick setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
