1960s Kent Resonator Tenor Banjo

This Japanese-made Kent tenor banjo was in for service and I gave it a level/dress of the frets and set it up for the owner. The guitar tuners make it easy to keep in tune and, frankly, it doesn't sound too shabby despite its aluminum rim and simple build. The neck has a hair of warp to it but it doesn't effect the playability too much.

I've got it setup for GDAE (Celtic/octave mandolin) tuning. I only snapped photos because it's on the earlier side for one of these import banjos and is an early example of the "one-piece-aluminum rim design" that is still in use today by beginner-level manufacturers.
