1923 Vega Style X Tubaphone Banjo-Mandolin

This slick little banjo-mandolin is one of several higher-end banjo-mandos the owner has. Because of that, I adjusted this one to be a 4-stringer for him so he could enjoy some of that "banjolin" and "melody banjo" fun (my preferred way to play a banjo-mando). This meant a new nut (sorry for the bone dust in the pics), replacement bridge, and some setup tweaks.

It's hard to overstate how successful the Vega tonering designs are -- this one sounds poppy and full all at the same time.
