1960s Harmony H162 000-Size Guitar

Overview: H162s are popular in the "hipster fingerpicking" and old-time scenes. What does that mean? You know -- Americana types -- the folks that haunt our shop all day...! They've got a nice, plain-Jane, woody, even sound that suits microphones and amplification and are down-to-earth in their looks and handling. The necks are medium-heft in size and have 1 3/4" nut widths and 10" board radii, so they have some crossover appeal to folks who like '40s Gibson neck attributes.

The top is solid spruce and the back and sides are solid mahogany. This one dates to the later '60s as it has a functioning truss rod (rather than just a steel reinforcement bar) and the neck is a little slimmer (but still hefty) than on models made immediately before this.

Repairs included: Before this guy got to us, it had some work done to it (a neck reset and some setup work), so it arrived in decent shape but really needed to be dialed-in. It got a level/dress of the frets, saddle-slot fill and recut, a new bone saddle, and setup work. I think Jake Too and Jose both worked on this one. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
