1960s Kawai/Teisco Modded Electric Guitar

Ancel recycled this old Japanese guitar into a real killer, lightweight, great-feeling instrument that sold before I had a chance to even take proper photos and get a video clip. It has a Gibson-style scale length and a neck feel somewhere between a Fender and an SG, but the original pickup was completely shot.

He put in a parts-bin Firebird pickup, new wiring harness (500k pots, Orange Drop cap, Switchcraft jack, proper ground to the tail), made a new (compensated) bridge saddle/topper, cleaned it up, and set it up.
