2013 Takamine EG512C Acoustic/Electric Bass Guitar

Overview: I hate to say it, but this is a rather run-of-the-mill acoustic/electric bass. It sounds decent plugged-in and the neck is cozy, but the top is on the stiff side so one really has to use a pick and a heavy attack to get decent volume out of it acoustically -- at which point you're getting some fret-slap from digging-in so hard. It would sound fine mic'd up for recording, though, and the stiffer build means this will handle gigs through and through. For someone who wants to practice bass on the couch acoustically and have an "unplugged-sounding" plug-in bass for gigs on the cheap, this would be ideal.

Repairs included: I fit replacement tuners (the originals had two damaged shafts/gears internally but these Gotohs are an upgrade and fit the same footprint), gave it mild cleaning, and set it up. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
