1930s Regal-Made X-Brace Conversion Mahogany 0-Size Guitar

Overview: This is a lovely, 0-sized guitar and it's lightly-built with an all-mahogany body. It came x-braced from the factory but, as some of the bracing was damaged, Ancel re-braced it to a lighter x-braced format with carbon fiber-reinforced braces. It's now a bit of a sleeper as it sounds glorious but has a simple, restrained look about it.

If you like bigger necks, wide string spacing, and a sound similar to '30s Martin 0-17 12-fret models, this is your ticket. 

Repairs included: It got new, carbon-fiber-laminated x-bracing fit to the top. The neck got a reset. It got new frets. It got a fresh, custom, rosewood bridge and new bone saddle. Some longer top hairline cracks were also dealt with (cleated and sealed). It's playing spot-on and has been stable in service since string-up in May. All of that was done by Ancel. Sometime this summer, it got a light neck shave/reprofiling from to mimick a 1930s Gibson profile and that was done by Mr. Micah Plante over in Bristol.

Condition notes: There are three longer hairline cracks on the top running from the waist area to the bridge area and one on the upper-bout-bass-top. All have been cleated and repaired. The bracing is new on the top (x-braced, carbon-fiber-laminate, lightweight). It has new frets, a new bridge, and a new saddle. The finish is original throughout save for the back of the neck where it's been reprofiled and refinished in satin. There are mild scuffs and scratches here and there throughout as well.
