2004 Epiphone Emperor Hollowbody Electric Archtop Guitar
Overview: While this is branded an Epiphone Emperor, it has much more in common with a single-pickup Gibson L5 cutaway than historic Emperor models. It's very much straight-up electric jazzbox as the body is ply maple throughout, fully-hollow in construction, and it has a floating, Johnny Smith-style mini-humbucker mounted at the neck with controls at the pickguard instead of on the body.
Nice other features include bound f-holes, a Frequensator tailpiece, bound tortoise pickguard, big block split pearl inlay in the board, and fancy, retro pearl in the headstock. The finish is still the thicker, poly stuff you'd expect on import guitars, but the whole package is pretty slick.
Repairs included: I just gave it a quick cleaning and setup. It's playing spot-on and ready to roll.
