2013 National Maple Woodbody Concert Resonator Ukulele
Overview: I'm a huge ukulele fan and resonator ukes are, possibly, my favorite genre of them. They do a bit of the banjo-uke thing and sound immediately Vaudeville, have excellent volume and projection so you can hang in a band or jam with them easy-peasy, and don't suffer from Vermont's fluctuating weather in the same manner that nicely-made, thinly-built wood ukes do.
These modern, National reso ukes are some of the best made and they have soprano-like, retro body shapes mated to concert-scale, 15-frets-at-the-joint necks. They're immediately very fun, have tons of board access for playing way up the neck and making oddball chord shapes all over the place, and still manage to have a joyful, relaxed, very ukulele-like sound. So many fancy modern ukes attempt to elevate themselves to something closer to small classical guitars and it's refreshing to play something that rejoices in its uke-i-ness.
Plus, dang it all, it's so adorable!
Repairs included: All I had to do was open this guy up, seat the cone and saddle a bit, and set it up properly. It's playing spot-on and ready to serve.

Condition notes: It's essentially new except for one smaller scratch on the upper-bout, bass side of the top on the shoulder. It's almost invisible in the photos but it's there in the closeups. This one still has friction pegs so tuning is 1:1 -- if the next owner would like geared pegs of some sort (I highly endorse Gotoh UPTs), I would be happy to install them at cost.
It comes with: It's got a good case.
