2017 Emerald X20-12 Carbon Fiber 12-String Acoustic/Electric Guitar
Overview: I'm very choosy about carbon fiber guitars and, while I've played a few of these Irish-made Emeralds that I thought were so-so in sound but good players, I can entirely get behind this particular guitar. It has a full, round, even sound and a comfortable neck. It also has an ergonomic body design and a shoulder-style soundhole that doubles as a "soundport" so it's also fun to listen to from the player's perspective.
It also has an undersaddle pickup with a preamp fit at the soundhole and the whole thing came here setup perfectly, just the way we do it ourselves, and it's also fit with a fully-compensated saddle, just like we'd do it as well. I was impressed.
Last but not least, it's a carbon fiber guitar, so it should be very stable for folks driving-around and gigging with it.
Repairs included: I just tuned it up and wiped it down a bit. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.
