1995 Guild D25-12 Dreadnought 12-String Guitar
Overview: The venerable D25 has been in production a long time and features a stripped-down look and the classic Guild arched-back design. This 12-string version is from nearer the end of the Westerly era and it's built tough and has a punchy, full sound. The body is fairly deep and doesn't have as much taper as, say, a Martin or a Gibson, and so it's got plenty of airspace in that body to give it some body to its sound.
The neck is on the fuller side and it has a flatter board radius, so if you like a retro-feeling neck and handling, this is a good choice. The "shadetop" sunburst-style finish is also a nice touch!
Repairs included: I'm pretty sure this had some decent work done to it in the past -- likely a neck reset, some fretwork, and some setup work at the very least. The top center seam was also cleated/repaired at some point on the lower bout and two small hairline cracks near the fretboard extension. It came-in almost ready to go, though, and all I needed to do was restring it and give it a few adjustments. It's playin bang-on and is ready to roll.
