2013 Martin OM-28V 000-Size Guitar

Overview: Vintage Series (that's what the V is for in the model name) Martins are like "upgraded features" interpretations of old '30s models. This OM-28 has retro-style bracing and herringbone top trim but does have an adjustable truss rod, for instance. It sounds gorgeous, full, and punchy and that long scale gives it more oomph than the shorter scale 000-28 models of similar style (like, say, An Eric Clapton 000-28).

My friend Ed has owned this for a while so I've been able to keep tabs on this guitar. He keeps his stuff nice and clean and, aside from the mild playwear put on by the owner of this before him, it's in good shape.

Repairs included: I gave it a fresh neck reset, lightly leveled and dressed the frets, made a new bone saddle, and set it up. It's playing bang-on, has a tall saddle, and is ready to roll.

Condition notes: There are small scratches and scuffs here and there in the finish. Previously, the binding had been coming off and there are a few cut marks and fill lines where it had to be cut and then reglued due to shrinking (it's a Martin thing, sigh). Overall, though, it's a good-looking box. It's had some play under its belt but it's been well-kept.

It comes with: It has its, presumably original, hard case.
